Question about route distribution

All my routes are set to private. Routes that I put in a group automatically the public characteristic. Are these really public, or just for group members? I want the routes to be accessible only to group members.

@Oliver-a If the group is private, the group’s routes will only be available for group members.

No, a route that is set to private will stay private if you put in in a group. Of course group members can "Use as a route" to copy the route to their own library, but your route is still private. So friends that are not part of the group will not find them if they browse your library.
