POI visible while navigating

It would be great if users could select standard POI categories, and uploaded personal libraries to be shown on the map while navigating. At the moment we can add POI to a route, so that we see those specifically added POI, which is useful, but it would also be very handy to activate complete categories like "streckensperrungen", mountain passes, viewpoints to be always visible while navigating.
I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

@Jörgen, Select a POI category to show up on the planning map, click a POI symbol on the map, and choose "Add as waypoint" or "add as POI". Doing this from memory so excuse me for the details

since the selection is implemented as a checkbox, "both" is supported as well

Yes, I am aware of that.
I often use "both", as I almost always want to have a Viapoint in this position as well. But of course I correct the position of the VP if necessary.Btw: I think it's a shame that the name is changed when Viapoints are moved - I only find this behaviour appropriate for SPs.

Yes that is quite nagging indeed. I believe I already outed that frustration on this forum not long ago

@Nick-Carthew, True. I usually place the POI only, and add a WP manually with some information about the POI in the name and note. ON the road of course
This combines beautifully with my other suggestion of the day, about "snapping" WPs to the road automatically.
