iPhone 11P, iOS 16.6.1; MRA v.4.0.4 - 216. I do not know if this was reported lately. I am still having issues with the volume. I have volume set in the MRA at loud.
When I use the navigation and listen to the music at the same time, I have to set the volume on the radio or the helmet headset high to hear the voice announcements. If I set the volume too low-at the level that I can enjoy my music without getting deaf-I cannot clearly hear the voice announcements.
I just came back from 1600 miles trip in the car. I have paused the music at the beginning of the ride, and I could not hear the voice announcements at all. I had to crank up the volume on the radio to 3/4 (unbelievably loud for music) to hear the voice announcements clearly. The problem with this setting is that, every time I turn off the car and come back later on, the music replay starts automatically and the radio blasts out almost giving me a heart attack.
It would be great if we could adjust the volume of the voice announcements relative to the music volume (not just three preset levels.) This way user could set up his own level of the voice announcements, and every time the music plays louder, the voice announcements would be louder, and opposite.
Right now, I have to play music louder than I would like just to hear the voice announcements.
Also, in the previous version of MRA, I rode about 5700 miles, and most of the times I was missing the beginning of the announcement; more or less, usually more. It was very confusing until I got used to it. In example: if the turn was approaching and it was 3/4 of a mile to it, I got announcement: "...turn right" instead of "In 3/4 of a mile, turn right."
That scared the living stuff out of me, especially in a city traffic.

Same problem, Sena headset on max volume and volume setting in app set to loudest setting and still quiet voice instructions which are totaly unclear at higher (legal) speeds.
I also find that there is very little or no difference between the middle setting and highest setting in the app volume choices.

It has been reported a lot in the past. It has not been reported for a while anymore. Since some updates the situations seems to have greatly improved. I was under the impression that in the current IOS version the volume could even be set independently. Up the volume while the app speaks. Am I mistaken?

On Android the problem on both my phones was solved with the same update, Dev however told me there was not done any work on it 🤣 Ever since I have not seen any messages about the issues anymore, Until now... 😉

Not possible on iOS16. Since yesterday we have iOS17. Not installed yet, but I think this update won't repair that either.

Just an update to say my issue has now been sorted with voice volume level (fault found with headset now sorted).

@Con-Hennekens It got better a while ago. Before then, it was really bad; could not hear anything and the announcements were badly cut off (at the beginning and the end.)
Now, the volume is little better, with the stress on "Little bit."
I was hoping that the volume can be set separately, and once done, they would be adjusted together in relation to each other settings (for music and announcements,) but its not a case. You cannot adjust the volume separately.
Also, the announcements cut at the beginning (most often) and truncated (rarely) are really confusing.
