That is an option on the Rider 42/420/450.
        Unfortunately not on the 40/400/410.
Moistening the tip of your glove finger a little bit helps.

@John-Barter I sewed some conductive thread into some of my gloves and it does work remarkably well, I made sure that there was sufficient thread within the glove to make a good contact with my skin and just a small blob on the outside so as not to confuse the screen. A good cheap fix.

Some gloves have touch screen friendly fingertips, like the ones below

              242ce262-b8ed-4b7d-a4f5-ab92e6bf3e87-image.png

My experience is that it doesn't always work for more than one season, the special tissue on the fingers wears quite fast

It is not difficult, it is easy, it's a hobby

@Nick-Carthew I have done exactly the same! I also used some graphite spray on my leather gloves. This also helps significantly!

                Manks bu'j te bange.

I think it's important to have lots of the thread inside of the glove to make good contact with your skin. I haven't tried graphite spray, do you use this with the conductive thread?

Ya, in conjunction with eachother. I have the conductive thread on the index finger and thumb, and I've put some graphite spray on top of the conductive thread and the entire finger to aid in the electrical connection. It seems that the spray sort of soaks into the leather. Gotta shake the can thoroughly though.

Both together gives me a solid electric connection to my skin indeed. That's the critical part. Especially troublesome with spacious gloves haha.

Yes I did exactly that. Ordered a small spool of RVS thread on Amazon and it works beautifully!
I can probably give 1500 other pairs of gloves the same treatment with that 2 euro spool πŸ˜‰

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebar to the saddle.
