So, €49 gets you the badge and early access to the beta version—what other benefits do you receive for that amount?

I paid the €49 and am now receiving messages telling me that my 48hr trial comes to an end in 5 hours, what’s this all about? I was pretty put out that as a gold member I was being asked to pay more for what seemed to be not very much , seems like a bit of a waste of €49 now
