Reading out the name of the waypoint and associated notes
-
It is a great feature that you can actualy audibly hear the name of the waypoint and teh associated notes!!! Super!
BUT.... it gets really annoying when it reads EVERY shaping point, of which you can have many.
One can opt for announcing the VIA points only, but for various reasons one may not wish to make a waypoint to be a VIA, but rather keep it a shaping point. If there was a way to only read out the waypoints (VIA and Shaping) that have notes, I think it would be awesome!
Since the announcement comes about 1/2 mile from the waypoint location it is a very cool way to be ready for a view of an attraction, announce it to the group you are leading, etc,...I really would love to use that function all the time on scenic solo and group rides that I lead many of.
Is there a way to do so that I am not thinking of?
Thank you foir your thoughts!

name and note can be empty fields.
but indeed the shaping points would still be announced ("upcoming", "reached").
there is as far as I know currently no way to omit these. -

@Lenny-O For what reason would you not want to turn it into a via so that you could hear the notes??
