Yes clear, but maybe they can introduce a compass button as in the overview without CarPlay. Would be much easier.

Maybe also a suggestion from me:

Current application:

• Since I also use a BT keyboard (Remotek One), zooming +/- also here always leads to the fact that the map view jumps into the said "Top Down" view and remains there even if you were previously in another preferred mode.

Proposal:

Perhaps a preferred compass mode for map view, which would be fixedly adjustable by switch, would be the solution. In this case, I would set it firmly to "Auto Zoom".

Then when using the zoom +/- via BT keyboard this could be executed, then probably in top down mode, and could automatically return to the preferred mode after a time X seconds.

That would be very cool, what do you think of such a proposal.

Aktuell Anwendung:

• Da ich ja auch eine BT Tastatur (Remotek One) benutze führt ein Zoomen +/- auch hier immer dazu das die Kartenansicht in die besagte „Top Down“ Ansicht springt und dort auch verbleibt auch wenn man zuvor in einem anderen bevorzugten Modus war.

Vorschlag:
Vielleicht wäre ein bevorzugte Kompass Modus zur Karten Ansicht, der per Schalter fest einstellbar wäre die Lösung. In diesem Fall würde ich es fest auf „Auto Zoomen“ stellen.

Dann könnte beim verwenden des Zoomen +/- per BT Tastatur dieses ausgeführt werden, dann wohl im Top Down Modus, und könnte nach einer Zeit X Sekunden wieder automatisch in den bevorzugten Modus zurückkehren.

Das wäre doch sehr cool, was haltet ihr von so einem Vorschlag.

I think that most controllers use the same commands. In my case I know that if you zoom in a command is send witch also changes the camera mode.
That was similar to the skip waypoint button. That was fixed by Corjan Maybe he can fix this also

The idea would be to set this on the mobile phone via a switch in the account, here in the example then to "Automatic zoom".

If you use a BT keyboard or the BMW WW as a user, it automatically goes into the probably necessary top down mode and returns after a time X seconds when no longer zooming is automatically back to the preferred "Automatic Zoom".

Die Idee wäre, das am Handy über einen Schalter im Konto so fest einzustellen, hier im Beispiel dann auf „Automatischen Zoomen“ .

Benutzt man als User dann eine BT Tastatur oder das BMW WW geht es automatisch in den wohl nötigen Top Down Modus und kehrt nach einer Zeit X Sekunden wenn nicht mehr gezoomt wird automatisch in den bevorzugten „Automatischen Zoom“ zurück..

...hmmm - I would not like yor suggestion @hubert-thoring. As a user of a Remote-2 controller (from DMD), I only zoom manually in and out, just in the moment if needed. I'm really happy there is a switch in app setting to disable automated zoom. This automated zoom was never fitting good enough my needs...

Or may be, I didn't understand your suggestion correctly...

You must have misunderstood, ... sorry if I didn't describe it clearly enough.

So again briefly:

It should be so that you can choose one of the current three compass 🧭 settings if you want to, in which the system goes back automatically after a time x seconds.

Account functions:

Switch A compass 🧭 Make a selection:

• Top Down

• Automatic zoom ()

• North orientation

Switch Off:

• as it is current, it remains at the setting on the compass 🧭

Also nochmal kurz:
Es sollte so sein das man eine der aktuellen drei Kompass 🧭 Einstellungen fest wählen kann wenn man es möchte in die das System nach einer Zeit x Sekunden immer wieder automatisch zurück geht.

Konto - Funktionen:
Schalter Ein Kompass 🧭 Eine Auswahl treffen:

• Top Down
• Automatischer Zoom ()
• Nord Ausrichtung

Schalter Aus:

• so wie es aktuell ist, es bleibt bei der Einstellung am Kompass 🧭
