Back from vacation

Hi everyone!

Guess who's back!
Had an absolute blast in the UK.
The 6th time me and my wife have been there and we love it every time.
Especially going to Wales for the third time was special and that is by far our most beloved region
Obviously this entire trip was planned in MyRoute-app (thanks @Nick-Carthew) and ridden with the app. Was it perfect? No. Close to it? Definitely!
There were two issues I had:- App crashed twice shortly after one another while navigating online in an area with poor coverage and the connection was there but only just and constantly dropped out again. After that I switched to fully offline and never had that issue anymore.
- On one occasion the upcoming waypoint displayed on the phone remained stuck (both the icon / number / shape and the distance to it)
Obviously I'll investigate these issues.
Our next update will be dedicated to stability again. I'll do some catching up on the forum, tickets and email
All in all, extremely happy with the app. Yes, I made it so obviously a bit biased but it just functioned well and how it should.Anyway, back to work!

@Corjan-Meijerink Always happy to help.
Glad you had a good time. -
Great to hear that you had a nice trip and are back!

I just got back from a 7000 km trip to Greece, and I have similar feelings – almost everything went very well! The only two minor issues were:- spinning map – a known bug
- the next waypoint in the top right corner was 'frozen' – the distance didn't change even after the point had been reached. I had to restart the route, but not the application. This only happened once.

Welcome back @corjan-meijerink - followed your activity and you did some great routes. Wales is my ‘back yard’ and I have the low signal problem all the time even though I have better coverage on the second multi network eSIM. Great if this could be ‘tweaked’.
Head off on 29 Jun for World Ducati Week 26 at Misano and looking forward to fully testing the app. Great if the next update was before then
but totally understand the need to catch up. -
Welcome back and have a fun time programming now that your own battery has been loaded to the max
Thnkx again for all your hard work -

@Corjan-Meijerink I’m really glad you had a lovely time – on your trip and with your wife.
In the meantime, there were plenty of people here, lending a hand whilst you were away; that was brilliant. But it’s soooo great to have you back. And I think it’s absolutely brilliant of you to share your first-hand experiences with the app so honestly. I’m sure that – with your experience, your skills, and the experience of the whole community – we’ll make the MyRoute-App the best app in the world.
