For me itβs just not always understanding when imperial uses what unit
Thatβs why I asked @nick-carthew on the GB view. If the consensus is indeed that US imperial always want feet for altitude, sure thing
@Corjan-Meijerink The UK use whatever measurements suit us best
In the UK feet and inches are used for height measurements and yards and miles are used for distance.
The US use feet and inches for height and feet and miles for distance.

You see that most new technical fields metric is the norm already in the US also.
