change time incorrect

@Rob-Verhoeff set to London - but we’re still on BST - is there a setting to take this into account? The time, I guess, will be correct 26th when we go back GMT. But maybe it will go wrong again in March?
@Big-Al-1 Interestingly (now that's an oxymoron!) when I change the time zone to West Central Africa the change time is correct!

Although it’s not ideal, I couldn’t care less if the time of my route adjustment is slightly off. But that’s just my opinion…
There are plans to abolish daylight saving time in Europe. However, the EU member states have not yet agreed on which time should apply... -
Can’t the time come from the local device? It’s no great problem, but it is wrong. Lots of apps out there that do it right. Some come on, My-route…dot the ‘i’s and cross the ‘t’s..

Hi @Big-Al-1 there is a bug on the website to do with UK time & it has been present for eons but nobody really cared about it
Now I believe this bug causes sync issues if you use MRA Navigation :- Sync Bug with Offline
If your using MRA Navigation you want to set your timezone to Europe & just live with the fact on the web site the times are incorrect. UK times on the site have never have been right so its nothing new but al least this way you wont have sync issues.& nope there has been no recognition that this is an issue

@Big-Al-1 I changed my location to London and a change in a route sets me back one hour too! So, I don't know why... sorry!
@Rob-Verhoeff said in change time incorrect:
I don't know why... sorry!
Probably a faulty/obsolete timezone map on the server?

"faulty/obsolete" implies that something has failed or expired so no longer functions correclty,
this is not the case as the timestamp on the website for the UK has always been incorrect -

Looking on the bright side, it is now correct until 29th March, 2026. I’ll repost then

Developers hate timezones
I hate timezonesTo be fair - timezone support was added a few years back.
The core of the issue won't ever be solvable in the current architecture of the website. When we tackle the website, we actually know we have users all over the world and this needs to work correctly

@Corjan-Meijerink For the UK the problem is connected to Daylight saving. Last week the UK was using BST British Summer Time which is +1 hour from GMT Greenwich Mean Time the time stated in the My account section, last week the logged time was 1 hour behind. The clocks went back an hour on Sunday so that we are now using GMT Greenwich Mean Time the time stated in the My account section and the logged times are correct. The system is not adding an extra hour for British Summer Time. In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October.
