Looks very sleek
Just wanted to update the offline maps and that crashed. Then I had to download them again 1 by 1. Do others have that too?

@CD130 no crash, but the update simply doesn't start.
On Android -
erste Gehversuche, tut mir leid sehr Buggy.
Like @Peter-Schiefer said using the IPad in landscape mode and creating a route the placing of the waypoints is of. Using it in portrait mode, witch is not my preferred mode the placing of the waypoints is good. The textbox in that mode is also better. Zooming in max makes the waypoint disapear.
-
I can confirm, the iPad planing e.g. waypoint setting in landscape is not working properly. The waypoint is not set at the button of the icon, it is set with the top (the fingertip) of the icon.
Portrait mode is ok for WP setting.
I thing the crosshair was better for positioning a WP on tablet/smartphone.Why are the waypoint icons that big? (See pic)
I used the simulation for testing. After stopping the route and the simulation, the position point (icon) is still moving over the map (as in the simulation).
Looks like simulation is still on. -
Indeed, the placement of waypoints is way off in planning mode. I (we) missed that completely in our alpha testing, because we were unaware that anything concerning the changed GUI would impact the (as we thought unchanged) planner module. This proves the value beta testing

Tablets will be optimised before release for sure!
@Peter-Schiefer
Edit: not so much tablet as indeed some landscape mode improvements but tablet are almost always landscape

@Corjan-Meijerink :
Thanks for the user UI update, I will test it extensively, the first impression is Bund and some functions you have to look for.Attention
️ 1.) Question
I have already noticed that the route A to B is calculated directly after a destination search and only the curvy variants can be selected, how do I select the fastest direct route if I don't like the three possible curvy routes (TrackRoute)?
Or do you have to see it that way the 1.) Navigate = fastest route etc. s. Picture below
Old version :
1.) Route Fast connection
2.-4.) Routen Track -

After entering your destination tap Navigate for the fastest option, if you want curvy tap the Scenic button.

Display problem!
The German word for quickest is not displayed.
I would change the translation from "Am schnellsten" into "Schnellste".
Then it would be displayed correctly, as well as "Kürzeste" (shortest) -
CarPlay start, the arrow is not centred correctly.
It will move later, after 1-2km to correct position.

Very nice! Good work, MRA dev team.
Minor irritations:
- Android Back button doesn't exit the app.
- Forcing users to step through all the features on first starting is unnecessary. A single popup asking if they want to see the latest changes is sufficient.
-
It is not possible to move the menu more up, to see more options.
You also do not see a bar on the side, to make you aware that there are more options.
Only if you move your finger at this area, you see more options and a bar.

Loving the new UI, same minor issues as others have posted about. In relation to the options piece in the post above, it would be great if we could change the travel mode here as well as part of the navigation options. I frequently swap between bike and car and forget to swap it over in the settings.

Great work with the new UI - top job. A couple of issues I experienced today on a quick test route I made with the new planner on the phone (worked well).
Same Point Navigation. The route was deliberately planned with only Via points to see what would happen with recalculation etc. The navigation worked well apart from how the app managed a return to the same point (Waypoint 1 and Waypoint 3) after navigating elsewhere. Regardless of what I did to route to Waypoint 3, the app said Waypoint 1. Videos show me selecting Waypoint from the Waypoints’ list and also manually skipping the Waypoint to 3 with the top right Waypoint Icon. Each time the app went back to showing Waypoint 1!
Car Play Manual Zoom Button. Tested on 2 different devices with the first screenshot on my car’s system through wired connection showing overlapping icons for zoom in and zoom out. Moreover, selecting these buttons made no change on the CarPlay screen.
When trying the same on me Chigee on the bike through wireless connection, the same thing happened but I noticed that the zoom was changing on the iPhone but not on the CarPlay Screen until exited the manual zoom function and then reselected the manual zoom again. This may have also happened on the wired connection:
Exit and re selection of manual zoom:
