Map overview of multiple routes/tracks
-
As a heavy user of MRA I would like to see a read only map view of multiple routes and track logs. For example, selecting a track log folder and being able to see all the tracks on a map, so I can see where I've ridden.
I can do this in BaseCamp and it's very useful, but I want to discontinue my use of that and just use MRA for everything.
Thanks for your consideration.

Hi, you can do it with MRA as well. Just create a new route, even with only one point, then go to the menu and click Add routes. You’ll see them all displayed in different colors.

@Alex-reds ...but there are missing features - p.e.:
- it's only possible to add 20 routes or tracks
- it's not easy to identify the populated route/tracks
sure, all added routes/tracks gets different colours. But it would be more helpful, if a route/track in list (left side) would be marked - it should be "highlited" on map too. And vice versa.

@Guzzist Thanks for the clarification, I didn’t know that. As for the highlight, the fact that you can assign any color you want, in my opinion, helps to understand which route the highlight on the map belongs to.

That's sort of but not quite what I was suggesting. I just want to see everything in a folder, or a selection. Not have to make a faux route and manually add them.
Like this how BaseCamp does it:

@Tim-Skipper well it's not Basecamp but much better. Every system has things you like and things you don't like. In MRA what you want is possible but in a different way.
Why would you want to do it is the question you could ask yourself. That will give you the answer -
Yes MRA is much better than BaseCamp, but it cannot do what BaseCamp does above, show every route or tracklog in a given folder on one map. There's several hundred in the map I posted above.
If MRA can do exactly this please explain how.

@Tim-Skipper I am with you, to have a one click possibility of showing all the routes in one folder. But what is the use of seeing hundreds of routes in a few square cm?

It can't, but is a feature asked for repeatedly.
Hopefully a similar feature to that of Basecamp will be introduced when the web-planner get's his overhaul. -

Just to pick up on this. After some experimentation it seems you can add more than 20 routes or tracks. It is true if you go to a folder and select Add All it will complain if there are more than 20 selected. But, it will add the first 20. You can repeat the process, selecting Add All from the same folder and it will exclude any previously added and add the next 20.
So it's a bit of an oddity of the UI. But I now have a single waypoint route with the entirety of my 2024 track logs added. It is very slow tho once you get into the 100s of tracks.
Whilst BaseCamp is still better for this, there is at least a way of getting more than 20 in.

@Tim-Skipper, great find! I would have never thought of that
