Saving a Route as a PDF with Incorrect Distances
-
Why are the distances between route points in the PDF not the same as those in the waypoint list in the MRA app? I created a route with 200 route and shape points that shows a distance of 8,762 km in the app but only 6,850 km in the PDF. The distances can actually almost always be determined between the points. It seems to me that either the waypoint list in the app isn’t displayed correctly, or the distances are recalculated when saving as a PDF but aren’t identical. I wanted to analyze the list to organize my stops, refueling, and overnight stays within a range of 250 km to 350 km per day.
Am I doing something wrong? If so, I’d appreciate a tip on how to fix it.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

@Mosimann if you have any "Skip/Offroad" segments enabled on any of the waypoints included in the route then this will throw off the total mileage & make the mileage at later waypoints incorrect
You could also try using a different routing calculator, from memory I think there may be an issue with Here & ferries with the pdf output, I believe it should be correct with the OSM calculator
Hopeful this issue is resolved/not in the new planner

If i use OSM Maps and export it as PDF the diff is only 90 km of 8762 km its acceptable. The route goes from Switzerland to the North Cape and back, with more time and distance factored in for Norway. A camping spot, gas stop, or photo stop is marked for each point. But based on my experience from previous trips, things will probably turn out differently than planned anyway.
But thanks a lot for the tip.
