    Hello!

    This is my first forum post, however I have already used MRA for the past 3 years.

    In these years I still haven't been able to find a function to combine several tracks into a single GPX file.
    In such a way that the indivudual tracks/routes are still visible in the navigation device. This would be (in my eyes) a nice feature to simplify sharing multiday trips with friends. Does this feature exist within MRA? if so, where can I find it?

    I know it is possible (Basecamp for instance does it) and I usually just combine the waypoints within the standard windows notepad. This never caused an issue for both garmin or TT.

      @Bas-de-Haan

      You can only make them visible in a route, not save then in a gpx

      Garmin Zumo XT2/XT/BMW Connected Ride Navigator/MyRouteapp (The App)
      Een dag niet gelachen is een dag niet geleefd / Een route is net zo goed als deze uitgezet is.

        @Bas-de-Haan You may want to convert the route-tracks (i.e. initially created from individual gpx files and imported as a route-track) to a route, and put all those (converted-to-route) routes in some public folder so that the rest the group can access them. If you then consequently want to visualise those routes together, next to each other (or should I say "simultaneously"), you can select one and select the tab "Routes" at the left, and then "Add" (toevoegen); you can even give each of them a different visualised color.

        Maybe not exactly what you're after (and somewhat cumbersome), but who knows (and hopefully) close enough ?

          Isn’t the answer here to do it the other way round?

          As in create the whole multi day route first because if you are a Gold MRA user then you can split routes in MRA.
          If you are using MRA Navigation app you could use different waypoint colours to separate the days for the whole multi day route.

          You don’t stop riding when you get old, you get old when you stop riding.

            @Steve-Lynch That could work, but I do not use the MRA navigation app, just the "make a route" module. The main reason I'd like just one GPX for let's say 5 seperate tracks is because my friends all use different kinds of software & navigation device. Just sharing one file instead of five is so much easier and less likely to cause differences in version (that is if everyone just uses the latest version of the single file).

              @sudolea Unfortunately not everyone of my friends use MRA (they're dumb, I know 😉 ). so doing that is not truely viable option. Having everyone (even the less tech savvy) just importing a single GPX to a TT or garmin device is the most reliable option (so far, at least for us).

                If you make your route public in MRA then you can share a link via email to your group which will take them to your specific route in MRA.
                This will allow them to download the route as a GPX1.1 without even Registering or having an account.
                Once your Group actually see’s MRA in action you may even convert a few. 👍
                I will log out to provide some screenshots and paste them here
                The user clicks "Use Route"

                  @Bas-de-Haan Then I suggest you save the several routes as (separate) gpx files, and compress them to a zipped folder. Maybe not ideal, but if your friends can get a single gpx into their own gps devices, they for sure will be able to repeat the same procedure as many times as there are routes 🙂
                  Of course, they can start using (the free version of) MRA too : maybe that's less cumbersome 😉

                    I don't think that is a practical practice (yet). Because when you start it will default to the beginning of your route (which is day1). Skipping waypoints goes one-by-one. I think having multiple routes (for each day) in one event is much more practical.

                    I am not affiliated with MyRoute-App. The help I am offering is entirely voluntary.
                    I am just an enthusiastic user, and hope you will be one too!

                      @Con-Hennekens
                      Yes I agree totally that having the files split by days is a far better option but the OP did ask for a solution to “Merge” individual routes which is not currently possible but splitting the whole Multi Day route is. (and therefore possibly less work)

                      Also agree on MRA Navigation use and the issues.
                      I don’t generally use it but have ran some tests recently on my Samsung S10 5G.
                      I haven’t had any issues with it so far but do see issues for iOS on my iPad but can’t test it on the road.
