@Lex.Kloet.RX why do navigation apps notify speedcam?
@Marco-Strani I use neither, because in Germany (where I live) it is not permitted and I am used to ride without any warning. So, I drive in any vehicle (cabrio, camper, motorcycle) according to what the road signs indicate. They are there with a purpose.

@Marco-Strani, I suspect you are talking about trajectory speed control?
I'm talking about a a fairly common system on highways in Italy based on calculating the average speed over a stretch of road of a few kilometers. If the calculated average speed is higher than the limit, you'll be fined.

Yeah, that's called trajectory speed cam. As far as I know they are mentioned in the app, as far as they are known in the HERE map data.

I was in the Czech Republic a few months ago, where the tutor system (or something similar?) is also used, and I received a warning about it in MRA.
So it's quite possible that you'll receive these warnings in Italy too. -
thanks Martin, did you receive a warning only when entering the monitored section or during the whole section, or were you warned also when exiting it?

If I remember correctly, there was a warning at the beginning of the section and then a display during the section (remaining distance) and the measured average speed. But I'm not entirely sure anymore. Can't you just try it out?

Hi Marco, with the MRA Navigation app you can be alerted about your speed compared to the speed limit, and you can also get warnings about speed cameras. However, the app doesn’t provide notifications for average speed check systems (tutors) — especially the new ones recently installed on some Italian highways.
Currently, only a few navigation apps warn you when you enter a tutor zone, but they offer far fewer navigation features overall. So, it’s better to stay cautious — driving a bit slower lets you enjoy the trip and the scenery much more. -

In Norway, the warning system has always worked very well!

I remember several occasions in Italy, when I was warned about Tutor zones. As often, Here map quality is the "issue". If nobody notifies about speed traps, etc., it won´t be available in map data.

thanks, I will check at the first opportunity
