Sometimes during one or more travel days, you start from your base and return to the same base (e.g., a hotel, B&B, etc.) because you use a center of gravity for logistical convenience to explore a specific area.
It would be nice to be able to copy the base waypoint so you don't have to create it each time. What do you think?

@Corrado-Miniati-0 Make it a favourite by clicking the star. Then with each new route click on the favourite and then add it as a route point.

Hi Nick, thanks a lot for the feedback.
Your suggestion helps, but I keep in mind that I add frequently used waypoints (home, work, parents, etc.) to my favorites.
If you need to copy a waypoint as the start and end point for even just one day, adding it to your favorites is impractical in my opinion, because you have to recall it in the dedicated menu and then you'll delete it 99% of the time because I'd never stay at that hotel again.
Being able to copy a waypoint directly from the list would be much faster.

@Corrado-Miniati-0 / @Nick-Carthew ...making a waypoint to a favorite - and then reuse it in same or other routes, may be a possibility. But it's not really a solution und will loose the additional note, you may have added to the original WP. And you may not remember the name of the favorite, if you try to find it in the long list...!

My shorter (not better) solution is: klick on a WP on map, copy the lat/lon coordinates in the description, enter it in search field in map, add search result as new WP.

          Nothing is impossible ;-)

Hi Guzzist, thanks for the feedback.
Copying the GPS coordinates is what I do too, but you also lose the waypoint description.
Being able to copy/paste a previously created waypoint with all the naming conventions would be the most logical and quickest solution, at least that's my opinion.
