@Carl-Lee You are correct, that is exactly how it should be if you read the descriptions of Garmin, but unfortunately in reality it is a bit different:
My experience was, that it works from time to time, but not always. Specially my experience that Tread messes up not only the routes etc. on the XT2, but also the Garmin explore data in such a away, that I haven't been able to "repair" differences between Tread APP, my XT2 and the Garmin Explore webpage. It was that bad that I lost all the data I already have migrated from various sources into the Garmin Tread and Explore universe.

Beside that I must admit, that it have worked for a very short period of time and only as long as used it more or less seldom. As soon it is was used heavily for planning and organising things, it messes it totally up.

@Benny-Van-de-Velde The only way automatic recalculation might mess up your routes is when waypoints would be skipped automatically without reason. This can be turned off entirely 🙂

Deactivating recalculations completely cannot be turned off.

so if auto skipping of OFF and you can for some reason not hit a waypoint, MRA will always try to navigate you back to the missed waypoint?

Yes, that is the general idea. Of course you can skip a waypoint also manually in such a case, by tapping the waypoint tile in the top richt of your navigation screen.

Yes, you can assume that both files, gpx 1.1 and gpx 1.2, work correctly in the new Zumo. Make sure you transfer the files with the connector or save them as from MRA to your Zumo.

Thank you for the tip that the confirmation email can end up in the spam folder. I have now found it and that it confirms I can take part in the Beta test.

One question. I signed up saying that I can test on an Android phone. I can test it on an iPhone, too. Is there anyway that I can test it on both, or am I now stuck with only using my Android phone?

The new route overview improvements are really great as can be seen from all the colourful screenshots of multiple routes but unfortunately the only way to share this wonder is via a screenshot.
If I have a route with multiple other routes displayed only I can see this,
as @Herko-ter-Horst say it would be great if the added route overviews were visible to friends/public & in Events & Groups

Exactly how I intended it to be.
We force track navigation as it works great now and it's the only sensible choice for OSM / TomTom routes 🙂

@Stanley-van-Geloven, Is het niet zo dat je uitzoomt op de kaart, en dan een CC locatie uitzoekt in je POI? Blijkbaar heb jij je CC locatie al uitgezocht uit een boekje of zo, of elders op internet, en niet op de MRA kaart, zoals POI eigenlijk bedoeld zijn.

Ik ben het overigens best wel met je eens dat kunnen zoeken in POI lijsten zinvol kan zijn. En dan denk ik daarbij bijvoorbeeld ook aan mijn eigen hobby: geocaching. 😉

Maybe BMW should have collaborated with MRA - i have now had some correspondence with them with a list of improvements that could be made.

Only option at present is possibly the Carpe Iter. Then I can use MRA for Navigation and the Tablet allows far greater use.
