@Vincent-Curren Sounds like a phone issue. Check your settings, make sure that it doesn't restrict the app for screen usage or you may have some power preserving mode activated.

MRA (With waypoints) > Sygic 2025 - Solved!

So after the whole night in VSCode trying to work out why the GPX file XML was not being interprited for waypoints in Sygic, and after numerous forum posts, I have a solution!
Step 0: Download and create a free account with the Garmin Tread app
Step 1: Create your route in MRA with waypoints
Step2: Download/Share the GPX from MRA and open in Tread (you can do this in one motion if in the mobile app)
Step 3: Check your waypoints show in Thread, then just click 'Share GPX' and open with Sygic (again if mobile you can do this in one motion 'open with' rather than messing with file downloads).
Thats it! All works, my big route now shows all waypoints in Sygic.
I can only assume (without finding the XML culprit) that the MRA export is not perfect (matching the schema definition for GPX), given Thread is by Garmin, their app must clean it up and re-exports in a cleaner format that Sygic can read!!

Maak een kopie of meerdere kopieën van de oorspronkelijke route en dan heb je altijd de oorspronkelijke route als het misgaat.

Make a copy or several copies of the original route and then you will always have the original route if things go wrong.

save your routes, go to https://www.myrouteapp.com/routelab and then use the upload button at the top to upload them to your account.

And nothing...I solved the problem by myself...after uploading the file to Google drive to be able to publish it here, I tried to download it and insert it into MRA, now it works...mystery...the old file doesn't work anyway...🤷‍♂️

@Jim-O-Dowd Hallo, laut Youtube Vidoe von Rhoenschrat " Kurviger auf Garmin Zumo XT / XT2: Meine beste Lösung für einen sauberen GPX-Import | №395" verändert Explore und Tread von Garmin die GPX Dateien auf den Server. Es werden alle Punkte geändert / gelöscht.
Empfehlung laut Video: Die Routendatei sollte per USB kabel oder SD Karte übertragen werden. Das zumo XT/ XT2 ändert die Routendatei nicht.

Kleine toevoeging.
Als ik een route in mijn telefoon heb zitten, en de app open staat, en de telefoon vervolgens dan pas aan sluit op mijn auto, dan herkende de auto wel dat MyRoute open was en startte deze gewoon op in Apple CarPlay, maar het scherm bleef totaal blanco.
Ik kreeg alles pas weer op beeld zodra ik de telefoon loskoppelde van Apple CarPlay, de recente route (die in de telefoon zit) stopte, het programma afsloot en dan pas weer verbond met Apple CarPlay.

Al es gekeken naar de hoek Edam, Volendam, Monnickendam als vertrekpunt? Of anders in het gebied tussen Almere en Naarden een optie??

Als je Google Maps opent en je klikt op de knop Hotels, dan zie je voldoende mogelijkheden. Kind kan de was doen 😉

@Tony-Knors-0 This seems like you are not being accurate when long pressing route point 15. Try expanding the map with two fingers and then long press route point 15. Because you have not been accurate the app thinks you want to navigate to a new location.

niveau: hoeveel je huidige capacitieit is min opladen: hoeveel je minimaal wil hebben in kWh om een laadpaal te gebruiken (zeg 20 kWh want je wilt marge als ie toch dicht is) Min. bestemming: zelfde als boven maar dan bij aankomst (zeg 5 kWh want je bent toch thuis)

De instelling om lege accu te voorkomen is dat de app dus echt zorgt dat je langs genoeg laadpalen komt 😉

Ik weet niet of het wellicht aan je IOS versie ligt, want ik heb zelf een Iphone XS Max met de laatste IOS versie (18.4.1) en daar geen problemen mee.

I got it to work!

I changed the input setting in MRA from Carpe Iter BMW Controller to just Carpe Iter, and in the CI Controller app I changed the "auto detect" setting and chose just MRA.

The Wonder Wheel works as a zoom up and down control, and a quick tap to the left brings up a very useful CI menu that allows you to lock and unlock the screen, adjust the brightness and volume, etc. A quick tap to the right will change the perspective from overhead to an angled view and back.

The buttons pan up, down, left and right. Zooming with the Wonderwheel will re-center the map.

This is exactly the functionality that I was hoping for.

Hi @Mike-wiruth The record feature that you mention is not new, it’s called tracking and it will record every movement your phone makes and at the end of the day, you choose to save it and it will appear in your Tracklog folder.
As far as I know, there’s no video but it’s quite intuitive, just tap the Red button when you start. You can even set the app to automatically record your tracklogs in the Navigation settings.
