@mick-k There is a workaround to help find routes more quickly and that is to create an event and add the routes that you plan to use into the event. Open the event in your MRA Nav app and all of your planned routes are there to use. Not the best solution but if you have 100s of routes in your MRA library it certainly helps.

@nick-carthew said in How to merge two tracks: @sudolea When you convert a track to a route, a pop up box appears reminding you to check each route point for accuracy. Yes, but I did mention I didn't have the time for my use case, did I ? I wasn't planning a trip, I just wanted to know how long riding time this route took. Whereby I mean there really are use cases where the possibility to merge tracks is useful. Nothing more (FWIW, I got the information I was after, using BaseCamp).

@vliegen-eric Werkt gewoon. Klik de checkbox voor de routenaam aan en je krijgt een pop-up wat je met de route wil doen.

@rob-parkin No problem. You can use the POI’s to find Hotels directly in the MRA Route Planner. You need to zoom in to at least 1km (shown bottom left in the map) before the POI’s become visible. Go to the “Support” page then look for the “MRA RoutePlanner” section, click the option to show all 27 items and in there you will find full details on using MRA POI’s [image: 1646970553040-30bb929b-e2f1-4dd5-9b95-30789aa2a2a4-resized.jpeg] [image: 1646971443740-976fd772-de78-4ec6-82f3-ad4941a1b8e9-resized.jpeg]

@rakesh-rao said in Optimize the Route: @herko-ter-horst Thank you for the quick response. 'Tyre app' has the option of 'optimize' - which would create a route that is the most efficient - especially Round Trip routes - Creating a route between the waypoints with minimal overlapping or any road and automatically rearrange the waypoints in the order. Like a 'salesman' route. Ah, I see. I don't think MRA has this functionality.

@con-hennekens I can't imagine! In this instance, it's not out of issues with the MRA product though. I just really like BaseCamp - for the way I prefer to plan routes (i.e. keep it as simple as possible) and for what I like to include and exclude, etc it just works perfectly. Others might find advantages in favour of the MRA option, and if BaseCamp ceased to exist I'd be perfectly content to use Routeplanner. For mobile device use, I think Routeplanner is peerless.

I'm planning a trip with my son to the Simmental in BO. In this route, from waypoint 19, you have to choose your way to Melchtal... The route is still concept, but made in the way @Jack-van-Tilburg said. Perhaps you can use it as an example. The first part we choose to take a large section of Autobahn and then go into the Schwarzwald. Have fun creating your route. The whole route as a scenic route does costs you appr. 3 or 4 days! @mark-harvey Getting through that Luton / Milton Keynes / Bedford triangle from Tring is the biggest ask, really! Sure, you could go around it by heading for Bicester / Banbury / Daventry but where's the challenge in that? How about something based on this: https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/5564501?mode=share If you don't know it, I think the section from Peterborough area to the Humber might give rise to a few grins.

How to Connect Your Smartphone to Your ConnectedRide Cradle https://youtu.be/odfIbhG65Q8

@herko-ter-horst thanks for your help. Annoyingly Google maps does recognise the difference. So that might be easier as I’ve 11 days worth of rides in France and Belgium to organise, so I would have much preferred MyRoute.
