@Lee-Parker-1 said in Mouse function when creating route: ut the scroll wheel and right button do nothing. Indeed I see some very strange things happening... Pointer works perfectly. Scroll wheel seems to zoom in erratically, and only with big steps of the wheel (and also on screen). Zooming out it does not work completely. Scrolling through menus just does not work. This is in the app and in-app planner. In the web planner (chrome browser anyway) the zooming DOES actually work! Also the scrolling in menus works, and also the right click for the systems options menu works! Problem is though that if you click a route in the web-planner routes page, the app opens to show the route. You can bypass that by right-clicking the route and select "open in new tab". I think my previous experience using a mouse was in the pre-in-app-planner era ;-). It would actually be nice to have the in-app planner working with mouse too for sure!

I found the issue about visibility of events at page "Activities": By creation of an event, it's needed to have entered minimum information: date Citiy, or Region set type to "public" then, an event will be populated immediately at page "Activities". So, no change, nor development is needed for this point of my suggestions. But still an overview or teaser about blog posts should be presented at this page "Activities". Without any enhancement no one can find and read such blogs.

So, although not a critical issue or something, it looks like currently not possible and a nice-to-have somewhere in the future. Thanks for your inputs.

@Canario said in Add option for stripping shaping points in gpx export: @ConiKost I use outdoor Garmins since decades for my Moto bike Tours. Having ViaPoints part of the route is one of the most important things for my routing. With export/import of the GPX 1.2 files and recalculation set to off in the Montana 700i, the Routing works fine but the ViaPoints are missing. It surely seems to have something to do with the GPXX : Subclass Tags. It would be great, if ViaPoint support for Garmin Outdoor Devices could be implemented in MRA. Until then, I will stick with Basecamp, possibly running on a virtual machine with Windows 10 or 11 in the future. To be honest, I don't have high hopes, that this will be proper supported in future, as most of the users here uses automotive devices like Zumo/Tread. And the roadmap seems to have more important features on it's list (which I can even understand..)

If you plan for other riders. Do not use export to Plan.tomtom. Use Save as GPX. Which doesn't really matter. So 1,1 is good. Plan.tomtom is for one device only.

Here's what I finally did that works extremely well for me. As I said in another post I simply wanted to see all of the exact GPS points in a .gpx file that comprise a track overlaid on a map. I found an even better solution than what I was originally looking for using the Google Earth Pro app (free) and Gpsvisualizer.com (also free except for the donation I made). Download and install a free copy of Google Earth Pro. You could use the web browser version, but according to an email from Adam Schneider (creator of the gpsvisualizer.com website and utilities) if you have a thousand or more gps point it can overload your browser. Go to to the "Convert your data for use in Google Earth" page in gpsvisualizer.com. Upload your .gpx file using the "Upload your .gpx data files" option on the right side of the page, then under "Track Options" select "Yes, with no names", then under "Waypoint Options" select "Default Icon" and select how you want your GPS points to be drawn (I chose small circles". Select "Create KML file" and a .kmz file will be created that you can then download on your computer. When you click on the downloaded .kmz file the Google Earth app will open automatically and the track will be displayed with all of the GPS point. It will look something like this: [image: 1741821557132-gps-points.jpg] You can zoom in and out right down to the street level, and you can also move around 360 degrees to view the track and points from any angle. I know this information will be useless to most people as everyone basically just wants to see the finished track, but if you are curious here's how to view your gpx file tracks individual gps points!

@Corjan-Meijerink Aren't things like which map you chose to use and what type of mode (driving, walking, motorcycle, etc) you prefer persistent across all routes when they're first created? It's not a big deal, but if it could be implemented with relative ease it would certainly be appreciated! If seasonal closures were even remotely accurate in my area it wouldn't be so annoying, but they're not. Thanks for your consideration! Steve

@Rob-Kelley, The reason for this, is that the generated "route" needs to be equal for all available map providers. Only a track does that without manual intervention. Besides that, HERE natively does not offer a roundtrip generator. Therefore the OSM map is used by the roundtrip generator, and the track can be loaded in MRA Navigation (using HERE maps). Not ideal nor perfect but it works ;-).
