@Con-Hennekens Jouw workaround lijkt te werken voor mij. Deze functie heb ik nog wel eens nodig bij het voorrijden van sportevenementen waarbij we met de motor over het parcours rijden, waaronder fietspaden. Ik zal het komend weekend bij het voorrijden van een halve marathon verder testen.

@Con-Hennekens It got better a while ago. Before then, it was really bad; could not hear anything and the announcements were badly cut off (at the beginning and the end.) Now, the volume is little better, with the stress on "Little bit." I was hoping that the volume can be set separately, and once done, they would be adjusted together in relation to each other settings (for music and announcements,) but its not a case. You cannot adjust the volume separately. Also, the announcements cut at the beginning (most often) and truncated (rarely) are really confusing.

@Stefan-Hummelink Het kan zijn dat het internet ontvangst erg slecht was vanwege een route langs de Maas in Limburg zowat op de grens met België. Maar waarom heeft navigeren met GoogleMaps dan geen problemen??

Hi @JonLicht71 and welcome. I too use a Cardo Packtalk Bold and if I am riding on my own the turn by turn instructions come through loud and clear, however if I am connected via DMC or Bluetooth to my wife on her bike then the instructions are very quiet, almost silent. I have the preference set via the Cardo app for navigation instructions to override all other devices including intercom. I tested to see if music and radio were interrupted for route instructions and they were. For me, it seems as if the app's trigger to interrupt the intercom is not being recognised by Cardo.

Dank nog voor de uitgebreide feedback! Hier kan zeker verbetering in worden verwacht. We zijn momenteel bezig om de volgende functionaliteiten toe te voegen in Apple CarPlay & Android Auto: Rijbaan indicatoren (eenvoudige weergave) Snelheids limiet Flits meldingen Daarna gaan we ook kijken naar routes inladen, waypoint tonen / overslaan en nog meer Zo lang je niet alles kan zien / doen in CarPlay is er inderdaad bewust voor gekozen dat de kaart ook op je telefoon zichtbaar is. Hierdoor heeft de gebruiker wel toegang tot alle functionaliteiten die de app heeft. Verder zijn we ook druk met de stabiliteit maar dat is (helaas) erg lastig.

@Wout-4 Do you have Skip waypoints automatically switched on in navigation settings? If you do, try switching it off.

@Tom-Cat Memory leak problems can be excluded (temporarily, obviously) by killing the app completely, i.e. get the list of running apps with a press of the system Overview/Recents button and swipe MRA away to actively kill it. That guarantees a clean start for the app next time. Just minimising/maximising the app won't clear the app's temporary data. Rebooting does the same, but for all apps - it just takes a lot longer. Another way I've seen the same 'Something went wrong' message is by trying to start navigating the route too quickly - before the app/comms is ready. That doesn't seem to be the problem you're seeing, but just in case - give the app a chance to initialise itself straight after you've opened a route, i.e. let the background screen contents settle. It can be 5-10 seconds in poor reception I've noticed, but on a re-try it usually recovers and starts navigating.
