Next gas station and recalculate

I was out for a ride today. At the end of my route, I used a AtoB straight route home. When I deviated from the route it kept displaying error unable to calculate route. This went on for about 10 minutes until I rejoined the original AtoB route. App version 276.

There appears to be some issues with the next fuel station. It constantly ignores stations on the route and sometimes changes the next station to a further one before we reach the first one. It's almost like if the station is slightly off the route then it's ignored. It also displays a next station well beyond the end of my route.

'Unable to calculate route' heb ik ook al enkele keren ervaren, zelfs waar de berekening eigenlijk een fluitjes van een cent is, geen omleidingen, geen wegenwerken... Echt vervelend als je dit op onbekend terrein zou tegenkomen.

My most recent experience was using online navigation. I will try again using offline navigation to see that is any better. I just updated to version 284 so results may vary.

While out doing some testing this morning, I've noticed that when running in Offline mode, the notification for next gas station on route is missing. Does this function not work when offline?

@RetiredWingMan, Hmmm, Yes I believe that's the case, but to be honest not 100% sure. Something to check when driving home . What is also a thing is that you need to be on the move. Often testing "from your sofa" will not show the gas station information.
