@Stefan-Hummelink hij zou aan de hand van het eindresultaat kunnen zien dat wat hij wil, namelijk eerst snel en daarna leuk. Om dat nog wat toe te lichten, Eerst de leuke route gemaakt zodat die interessant is om te rijden en daar het startpunt van die route verlegd naar een punt bij mij in de buurt om het snelle stuk eraan te koppelen. Omdat ik als kandidaat RouteXpert ervoor moet zorgen dat mijn routes geschikt zijn voor zowel Here, TomTom en OSM. Zitten er in het snelle stuk ook nog een paar vormingspunten. OSM zal je op de snelweg regelmatig onnodig van weg halen en direct weer terugsturen. De Here gebruiker zou kunnen voldoen met 1 vormingsp7nt, namelijk het snelweg startpunt. Here zal je dan zonder omleidingen rechtstreeks over de snelweg naar het kronkelstuk brengen. Ik hoop dat hij zo duidelijker is. Mijn post was slechts een aanvulling op jouw goede suggestie, geen kritiek

@Alasdair-Denton-Miller thats not completely correct. The 1.2 export sends the viapoints plus the original track. Thereby forcing the XT2 to go via the original track. Make sure that you don't have any restrictions active on the XT2. The biggest problem is the tread app that doesn't do what it's supposed to do. And therefore a lot of people use the wired export. I know thats not ideal

@Peter-Schiefer, I see what you mean, and you are correct. I think this exact problem has lead to the introduction of (dis)allow cities and (dis)allow residential areas. These are only available for curvy roads, so they are likely an OSM feature and not available in HERE.

caught me out a couple of weeks ago, and took me ages to find why I could not navigate the route. I still usually use Tom Tom for navigation and got a "no route" possible. Turned out I had put a waypoint in the middle of a closed road.

I don't thimk it is simply a screen issue. For high contrast = readability in sunlight a proper choice of colors is much more important. A retired photographer recommended me, switch your color tables to greyscale and then choose for landscapes etc. and roads just the opposite colors. Michelin overlay colors are a good example.

@Fred-Gilbert, my favorite method is a simply copy / paste. In windows / chrome that works perfectly, and also in Firefox.

@Wolfgang-Koch-1 I use the route planner with Linux mint and Windows. Transferring routes to my XT I use Garmin drive on my phone. For my 3xx units I transfer routes directly using USB on Linux Windows and Android. No connector required.

However, the app takes the current traffic situation into account when planning the route according to the navigation settings in the menu "More" at the bottom right of your BMW Motorrad Connected App.
