@sudolea, hmm. I can't help you any further than this: You might want to check openchargemap.org. It's a public worldwide database with an API which I think you could use to get the wanted data as KML file. You will however need to convert that into OV2, GPX or CSV. Many services seem to be commercial, it is not easy to find a ready to use POI for fast chargers I think.

@Jörgen so my last vacation I tested using solely the iPhone and it worked well, except a few things that I did report in a different post. Some things were pretty annoying so that I now will test a Carpuride device with Apple Car Play to see if I am more satisfied. I'll let you know then, if and why I think it will have benefits with another device (or not).

Finally, I purchased a Carpuride screen with Apple Car play, my next upcoming trip starts next week, where I will have enough time to check and test how the volume performs there.
