App crashes

I'm very disappointed with the Navigation Next app and regret purchasing a lifetime license for it. The app is useless to me because it crashes at least once on every motorcycle ride, rendering the ongoing track recording unusable. I've connected the app via CarPlay and can usually restart it via CarPlay, but the recording doesn't resume and, in many cases, is lost or corrupted from the beginning.

iPhone 13 Pro Max@Achim-Kaluza maybe first find out how it works before you start complaining.

How satisfied are you with the MRA mobile app to navigate yourself, without CarPlay?
Note:
When using CarPlay, you have to know that it is a setting between two devices, a disturbed clutch or Crashing can have many causes, this can also be your CarPlay system.

I can't use the mobile app without CarPlay because I don't have a handlebar mount for my phone. Also, I don't want to expose my iPhone camera to the vibrations of the motorcycle. I purchased the app license specifically because of CarPlay support.

Your tone isn't one that invites people to help youWell, you might notice I'm annoyed. I studied all the manuals and tutorials and compared them with other apps before deciding on MyRouteApp. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed now and will probably have to look for a yearly license for another solution. I'll keep an eye on MyRouteApp anyway. Maybe it will run more reliably with a newer phone.

Here in the forum, there are several complaints about the connection between smartphones and display devices. Apple CarPlay causes slightly less trouble.
I know it sounds anachronistic, but have you tried using a cable? All you need is one from your jacket pocket to the display device.
In addition, an error message, especially when it is so vehemently presented, always requires a detailed description of the hardware used. Better yet, the settings of the app during use.
No one here has the necessary crystal ball to figure all this out.

@Achim-Kaluza the way I look at it. You’re disapointed in the Carplay functions. If you in this forum you can find loods of post concerning this issue. The proper adres to complainte about would be Apple and Google because of their restrictions. On the MRA side our devs are doing want they can to make the app work as best as possible geven those restrictions. If you’ve got any questions feel free to post them here

I am following the above discussion and find it too simplistic to refer to restrictions imposed by Apple and Google. Of course, I understand that you have to develop within this framework and that this sometimes involves restrictions. However, I find it too easy to attribute stability issues to this.
Why then does TomTom Go not have any problems with this? I have been using this app for many years in combination with various Carplay systems without any issues. Once again, MyRoute is a fantastic product for motorcycle navigation that TomTom cannot even come close to matching. Everything is in one ecosystem: route planning, archiving, navigation, etc. However, stability remains a major issue that has not yet been resolved. It is improving slightly each time, but we are not there yet. As a result, many riders are dropping out, at least in our motorcycle club, which is of course a great pity. My advice would therefore be to focus all attention on resolving the stability issues first and only then to focus on the functionalities again.

@Jeroen-1s I cannot agree more. The app looks great, is one of a kind. But reliability should be fixed with the highest priority. Altough there are restrictions, other apps run stable enough so it should also be possible with MRA. I would even prefer less options/functionality and improve the robustness of the app.
Now friends of mine in our motorclub also drop out or won't even concider the because of all the complaints in the forum.
