Notes not read aloud

Are notes being read aloud these days? The feature was in there before but doesn't seem to work anymore.

I was using notes earlier this week okay, so I believe they are still being read aloud as normal when directly using the MRA app to navigate.
For Android Auto I cannot say -
Do know what distance you choose between your waypoint with notes and the previous one?
I know there is a minimal distance needed. But how much?(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)

I just drove a route with different notes at Via-points. I do not use notes at shaping points nor do I have shaping points called out.
I also place a shaping point about 500 meters before a Via point. This is to prevent the notes from being read too early. So far, this works perfectly and the notes are read cleanly when I have passed the shaping point ahead. I have not experienced any problems with this yet.
