I installed the app last year but stopped using it because I got confused over the various subscriptions. Now I am trying to get my head around this again.

I have an offer to buy the MRA Routeplanner Gold for a lifetime price of €149.

    So far, so good.

But, does that not include the Navigation App (I use Android)?
Do I need to buy the MRA Navigation Next app as well?
In that case the most economical option is the All-in-one (Gold + Next) for €199

I might be a bit "thick", but I find this really confusing.

@Per-Kjellqvist Yes Per you're wright. The best offer at this moment in time is all inclusive deal of € 199

Yes, there are two separate products: the (Web) Planner and Navigation. with separate license. If you want all functionality, you'll need both.

If, however, you only or primarily use the Planner to plan routes for MRA Navigation, then you may be all set with just the Navigation Gold license, as that includes a Planner license somewhere between Silver and Gold, including the HERE-functionality needed to plan for MRA Navigation.

This page provides the most comprehensive overview of what is included with which license: https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/shop

Note that only the "Navigation Next" license includes actual navigation.

Sorry @Herko-ter-Horst you are giving incorrect information. There is no such thing as Navigation Gold. If you are unsure of an answer, it is better not to answer.

The website route planner has two subscription options:
          Gold or Silver.
Gold has all the maps and tools.
          Silver has fewer options.
Neither Gold or Silver allow you to navigate.

MRA Navigation Next is the subscription for the mobile app that adds the navigation module to allow turn by turn navigation. It also includes a mobile route planner.

TomTom Rider 500. (In the cupboard now)

Ok, so I wrote "Gold" instead of "Next" by mistake, the advice is otherwise correct. And if we aren't allowed to make mistakes in our answers, then this will become a very empty forum pretty soon.

@Herko-ter-Horst, yes, knowing you just a bit from around here I recognize the mistake as a word mix-up. You are certainly well informed about things like this.

@Con-Hennekens There is no doubt about it when I speak to fellow riders about MyRoute app and how it all works, they suddenly have a confused look on their face. I suspect that with the benefit of hindsight the creators would name the Planner/App/Navigation components differently if they were starting over again. I too have made made similar mistakes with the naming and have been corrected like I'm an imbecile. Admins, please don't take your frustrations out on your users. 👍
