      I've noticed that sometimes as I tap Navigate I hear the voice guidance right away. Sometimes I don't.
      What drives the voice?
      Thanks!

        @Lenny-O I have the impression that it depends on how close you are to an intersection or junction when starting a route. For example, if you begin on a straight road of about 3 kilometers, you won't need voice instructions for that stretch. However, if your route starts within about 100 meters of an intersection, it seems clear to me that you would need voice guidance in that case.

            @Rob-Verhoeff Rob, I tested your thought with various locations of the shaping points and various combinations of online / offline + navigate route as track on/off.
            Could not produce a voice on either....
            I think I will open the support ticket to have them explain it in detail.
            Thanks again!

              @Rob-Verhoeff Hello again, Rob!
              Looks like the Support has the same idea as you! πŸ™‚
              Here is what they answered to the same exact question:
              "Hard to say really.
              It's about your current position relative to your next instruction and how well you are on the route.
              Basically the easiest answer is to acknowledge this isn't made to be consistent when standing still."

              But I feel we should get some voice confirming "ready to navigate" regardless of anything else. Otherwise one is not sure that Navigation is in order and will give guidance.
              Cheers!

                @Lenny-O What you can try is the following: at the moment you expect a voice instruction, turn the volume knob to maximum.

                  @Rob-Verhoeff Rob, was that a joke? πŸ™‚
                  The volume is to the Max πŸ™‚

                    @Lenny-O Certainly no joke! In the app, you can adjust the sound settings via the audio menu. Even then, it’s definitely worth trying to set the volume to maximum at the moment you expect a voice instruction.
