MRA connector won't see my pc-connected BMW Navigator (tomtom version, 2024 yr)
-
Every export option the MRA Connector (windows) offers, won't do it. The picture shows the options, but when you have Gold license (like I have now) there are even more options, but still none of them work.
The two TomTom export options mention that the device needs to approve the import, but nothing shows on the BMW Navigator.
All other export options just mention that the Navigator is not connected. However, when browsing through en explorer windows, I can also browse the local storage on the Navigator.
I reported it to MyRoute but they wont follow-up, and exit the conversation by noting that i can manually export the routes and manually import them on my device.
Anybody else more luck?

@Rob-Bousie
You call your BMW Navigator a "tomtom version, 2024 yr". But that is a wrong assumption. The BMW Navigator is a device developed by BMW with TomTom techniques. It is not a TomTom and therefore the current MRA connector does not work with your device.
There are several other ways to export your route to the BMW Navigator. They are also described here on the forum. -
@Rob-Bousie The fact that your navigation device uses the TomTom map and algorithms, I would advise you to change your planning map from HERE to TomTom.

@King-06 Thank you for replying. I know how to do it manually, but I would really like to use the Export function directly into my Navigator. But you mention there are several ways, so I am gonna dig in the forum some more. Again, thank you.
Rob
ps. I did change the Routes from HERE to TomTom, still no luck. Export problem stays unchanged.

@Nick-Carthew hi Nick, I encountered the issue before I was a Lifetime member. But now I am, and after changing the map from HERE to TomTom, like you mentioned, the issue stayed unchanged. I really just would like to benefit from the Connectors functionality. Thank you for replying. Cheers,

@Rob-Bousie
Changing from Here to TomTom map is not meant to enable export. The BMW ConnectedRideNaviagoter uses TomTom maps and then it is better to plan with the same map.You can easily export your created and saved routes to the Connected Ride App if you use the MRA App on your smartphone. After that your route will sync with the Nav.

@King-06 tesrting that, will be my first task for tomorrow

@Rob-Bousie
MRA and the BMW Connected AppThe menus have changed in appearance recently, but their essence will certainly still be recognizable.

@King-06 menus changed indeed, but still very workable. Great topic find, this worked for me.
