order of the waypoints?
-
Hello everyone,
I have already written that my sounds are not working. My second problem, where I am surely misunderstanding or doing something wrong:
I have planned a small route to test the whole thing. The route is not a circle or a straight line (starts and ends at the right edge 1/15):The app took me (starting at the top right before 2) to past 2 and then straight ahead at the next junction (correct: direction #3). A few meters after that junction (which means between points 2 and 3), the message appeared that point 3 had not been approached (but I was on my way there). It went on in a similar way, i.e. the order of the waypoints was changed by the app. I would like to ride the route exactly as the waypoints are arranged. Or am I misunderstanding something?
Again, thanks in advance for any advice on what I'm doing wrong.

Hi,
You are using only waypoints. Change ex waypoint 6 into a hard waypoint (the hand icon) and it will work.

@Wolfram Or switch off waypoints skipping in the settings, in this case you will have to skip them manually in case of need but the route will be exactly as you have planned.

@Stanisław @DerRoteBlitz
Hello DerRoteBlitz, hello Stanislaw,thank you very much for the two tips. My mistake: based on previous navigation devices, I assumed that waypoints were already “fixed” (in contrast to shaping points in other systems). But together with the second hint (skipping) it makes sense.
In any case, I will now read the user manual carefully before I ask any more beginner questions like this. Thanks again

@Wolfram hi. If you will share this route here and make shore it’s set to public. Thé way you discribe the problem might also mean you’ve done something niet compleetly right. We can have a look at it and help you out

@Marinus-van-Deudekom
thanks for the offer, but I suspect the waypoint hint will work. I'll just try it out and get back to you if it still doesn't work.

@Wolfram : I would check the location of the WEgepunkte (WP). If this m on the l is not really on the track = road, something like that just happens

@Hubert-Thoring Thank you - I will check the planning and try different settings at the weekend and I am sure that I will get the whole thing under control thanks to the good advice here in the forum.

@DerRoteBlitz said in order of the waypoints?:
You are using only waypoints. Change ex waypoint 6 into a hard waypoint (the hand icon) and it will work.
What on Earth would turning WP6 into a VIApoint change for the obviously premature skipping of WP3...? VIA points are intended for NOT auto skipping at obligatory stopping points, in contrary to SHAPING points. Nothing more, nothing less.
@Wolfram, Check that you are using the HERE map. Check that WP3 is on the road and not too far off. It would be nice to know if this is reproducible if you re-ride the route.

@Con-Hennekens
a short report from trial and error: as advised, I changed waypoint 6 (but also 4 and 10, just to make sure) and it has had the desired effect: the route is being followed as planned. Perfect!
Thanks again to everyone for the quick and helpful answers
