I am trying to route through my village on Uttoxeter Road Blythe Bridge but it wants to take me on the main A50 and back across.
Every time I try to put a new waypoint in it throws it up some country lane.
It also wants to take me through a Tesco Express car park which the map shows as a road - which it isn't...
      Any ideas?Screenshot 2024-08-12 102529.png

@Lynn-Ward I see you're using the OSM map. Try setting it to Here
Have you got any restrictions active

@Lynn-Ward If you use the HERE map to create your route, it will follow your desired path. The HERE map is also used in the navigation module. If you also have a subscription to MyRoute-App Next (the navigation module), it is recommended to set the HERE map as the default. This is also advisable if you're exporting to a Garmin device.

If you're exporting to a TomTom device, set the TomTom map as the default map for route planning.

Below, you can see where to set the planning map (red frame). The maps in the blue frame are the so-called overlay maps. Here, you can choose which other map you want to overlay on the planning map. Personally, I often use the Michelin map to plan my routes (on top of the HERE map).

@Lynn-Ward It does the same when I try it but only on OSM. On TomTom or Here it takes the route you want. The OSM map either has a problem or perhaps the level crossing is closed (although this does not show up on Here with traffic on)?

@Stephen-Rowland for me the routing looks reasonable on the OpenStreetMap web site

On MRA it looks wrong as per the OP, so my guess is, it is the usual out of date OSM maps used by MRA
