Skipping waypoints

Good Morning,
I have a pre-planned route with several via and shaping points and this in the navigation app. Now I would like to skip a waypoint (e.g. number eight) before the start or during the journey, e.g. because the interim destination is closed. However, I am only at waypoint 2. Is there a way to delete this waypoint at this point? I have only found the option of deleting the NEXT waypoint or skipping everything up to waypoint 9 (just as an example). Alternatively, I have only found the option of going to the route planner, deleting the waypoint and downloading the route again.

@Tuxi yep, you can do that! Just long press waypoint 9 and navigation skips everything before WP 9

@Rob-Verhoeff But I have to have already reached waypoint 7. For example, if I press and hold waypoint 7 right at the start of the route or at waypoint 2, all waypoints up to waypoint 8 are deleted.
But I only want to delete waypoint 8. However, I would like to use waypoints 2-7.

@Tuxi than you have to skip them one by one or re arrange your route! Move wp8 to a better place. With the new in-app routeplanner that is comming that will be possible.

@Tuxi Not possible to skip an individual route point without skipping all the previous ones. Editing your route is the only way or skip it when you reach RP7.
