      Bonjour,

@Christian_de_BXL-0, in my view it is more logical in the MRA Navigation, because the same route calculation logic is used in the planner and the navigation app. Also you never have to worry about sending routes to your device. A lot depends however on how proper the route is planned. That goes for all platforms you use for navigation.

Yes it is possible and very easy to skip a waypoint. It is however always possible that the newly calculate route to the next waypoint goes trough the old one. Like with Zumo's you will need to drive around the closure on your own merit. Unlike Garmins MRA keeps calculating and suggesting how to go to the next waypoint.

I am just an enthusiastic user, and hope you will be one too!

@Christian_de_BXL-0 to answer your 3rd question. Yes, it is possible to variations in the route. There could be restrictions that were not there when you planned your route. Also, if you have live traffic enabled, it's possible that when you load a route a variation could occur due to traffic. Generally speaking, I rarely see changes on my routes in Navigator and its normally due to a blocked road.

@Christian_de_BXL-0 can you put a English translation in each message. It's easy that we can read you're message without to translate it our self.

@Christian_de_BXL-0. If you have to deviate. MRA may skip one or more waypoints to get you back on route. It does not skip all waypoints.

@RetiredWingMan When a recalculation is made in a route, the XT2 recalculates according to the basic configuration, i.e. the shortest time and therefore removes the shaping points that do not fit into its new route. This is the case if at the end of the route, you place several shaping points to stroll around before going back. If a recalculation takes place, the GPS will drive you home as soon as possible, regardless of the route prepared on your PC.
If instead of shaping points, you place via points, in this case it will force you to go through them, which is not always desired if you change your mind along the way.
Do MRA Navigation app do the same?
With my 660, when you passed a waypoint, after a few km, the gps went to the next waypoint without forcing absolutely you to go through the point you passed. The button to pass the next waypoint does not always work.

@Christian_de_BXL-0. If you deviate from a route, mra will try to get you back to the missed wp. After 3 recalculations it will skip the wp and try to get you to the next wp. If required it will skip the next one as well. You can also very easily manually skip wps. By default the motorcycle profile uses fastest routing. The Car profile can use shortest.

Deepl is a great tool for quick translations (and much better than Translate!).

But I usually answer in English too, I don't need a translator for that 😉
