Restarting a route that didn't
-
I'm sure I've done something wrong. I love this App and I am quickly coming to love the navigation. I use a Garmin Zumo XT as a back up until I have full skill in Navigation.
I made a 190 Mile route to be used with Android Auto. About 1/2 way stopped for lunch. Up until that point everything was working well. BOTH MRA Navigation and Garmin were in sync.
After lunch I saw the screen that says to "continue navigation". I pressed "yes", but from there on my position never moved from the lunch location. Garmin picked right up where it left off on the route, but MRA Navigation did not. I stopped a number of times to skip shaping points to "catch up" with the Garmin. But both the phone and Android Auto showed NO SPEED and never moved beyond the Lunch location.
This is why I use both. My Garmin got me home.
What did I do wrong to cause the MRA Navigation to STOP navigating after lunch, and no matter how many shaping points I skipped would never pick up the route again?

@Greenham, I don't think you did anything wrong. Apparently your app crashed. Software or hardware error equally plausible. I am quite certain a force close and restart would have gotten you going again.

Thank you for your input. Just so I am clear. If I had force closed MRA reopened are you saying it would have picked up where it left off (Stopped moving) and started again? Or would I have had to start the route from the beginning and press and hold my next desired waypoint..
I ask because I have been using MRA for a number of years, and became quite good at route design and the tools, maps and features. Now with the integrated Navigation I'm trying to get up to speed on such things. Further I have a 4 days 1100 mile trip coming up that I have meticulously planned in MRA and plan to use Android Auto (and my Zumo XT) but I really want to make MRA Navigation work, and knowing the tricks as you just described is very helpful

Yes, if you force-close the app and restart afterwards, you get the question if you want to resume the route. If press "navigate" there, the route resumes from the waypoint it was going to when you force-closed it.
If you press NO instead and restart the route, it will go to WP1 and you will need to press and hold the desired next waypoint indeed. Have a nice trip!
