Oké net terug uit Duitsland en het werk geweldig niks op aan te merken, en dan samen met route app kan je heerlijk je weg vinden.
Ik draaide zelf spotify om heerlijk muziek te beluisteren.En het scherm is met je handschoenen gewoon bedienbaar.
Hij zit er bij mij en komt er niet meer vanaf heerlijk om op deze manier apple CarPlay te kunnen gebruiken
Waar je wel op moet letten is dat je batterij van je phone sneller op gaat, wel logisch natuurlijk wat je doet alles draadloos

@versluis ik heb er een schermprotector opgedaan. Ik kan hem hierdoor niet met motorhandschoen bedienen. Ga het nu proberen met plakkers op mijn vingers
Zal waarschijnlijk door de screenprotector komen

Sorry this is in English and I have not succeed in getting a translation of the prior discussion. I am trying to work out whether this Carpuride is going to do what I want.- I ride a BMW 1200 GS.
- I have an interphone comms system in the helmet and app on the phone.
- I have MyRoute app and navigation on a Nokia 6.1 Android phone, where I have been trialling it ahead of a 10day trip to italy. So voice commands currently working with the interphone.
- The phone is in a handbar bag with clear screen and lead to connect to BMW charger, so I can glance down at the map as well.
Has anyone used the either the W702 or the BMW version in this setup and particularly with MyRoute. I dont quite understand how MyRoute app will be displayed on Carpuride.
I dont want to use google maps as someone has put all the routes for each day of our tour on My Route.

The Carpuride works the same as CarPlay in your car

So when you also see Google maps on the Carpuride you will also have Myroute app visible on your screen

@NAA-Nigel-Austin Ik heb ook een Carpuride op mijn GS gemonteerd en heb er laatst 700 km mee gereden. Ik ben er zeer tevreden over. Je kunt navigeren met MRA en tegelijk muziek afspelen en Flitsmeister op de achtergrond laten draaien. Helaas kun je geen Buienradar op het scherm krijgen. Je kunt zelfs ook je whatsapp berichten voor laten lezen. Wanneer je dat laatste doet, krijg je bij je muziek en MRA een vervormd geluid. Ik heb dit aangemeld bij Carpuride en heb een software update toegestuurd gekregen. Kijken of dat het probleem oplost. Ik heb er al wel een work-around voor bedacht en dat gaat goed.
Als ik zou weten hoe ik een foto kan uploaden dan kan ik je wat foto's laten zien van de Carpuride op mijn motor. -

. Thank you for your reply and its good to know someone has it up and running.So do you open MRA on the phone with the planned route, and then Carpuride detects this as the navigation tool from its icon and then displays the phone MRA on the big screen?
Sorry for another dumb question - does the screen get its power from the as fitted GS mount, or does it need to be connected to the power connector on the right handside.

@NAA-Nigel-Austin Ja dat klopt. Op je telefoon de route op MRA kiezen en wanneer je deze opent, komt deze in je Carpuride. De spanningsvoorziening kun je halen van een 12Volt aansluiting (accu/ contact) of van een usb aansluiting. De aan/uit knop op de Carpuride is lastig te bereiken dus zou via contact aansluiten.

@NAA-Nigel-Austin Ja dat klopt. Op je telefoon de route op MRA kiezen en wanneer je deze opent, komt deze in je Carpuride. De spanningsvoorziening kun je halen van een 12Volt aansluiting (accu/ contact) of van een usb aansluiting. De aan/uit knop op de Carpuride is lastig te bereiken dus zou via contact aansluiten.

@Huibertus - I have had an email with Carpuride as well before coming on here, and the MRA team pointed me to the forum. I have a discount code from Carpuride but I think there is not much difference in the price with Amazon. Thanks for the advice and it will be worth checking.

@Huibertus I have purchased the 702B today direct from carpuride based on a comment someone made about getting updates directly. Thanks for all the help.

@goos-doornewaard ik heb er al even niet mee gereden omdat ik in de winter niet of nauwelijks rijd. Ik heb contact opgenomen met Carpuride en gevraagd om de laatste update. Die hebben ze toegestuurd maar ze willen mij niet op een lijst zetten om direct de laatste update toegestuurd te krijgen. Ze zeggen dat wanneer alles goed werkt, er geen update nodig is.
