A new 'challenge' for me. In the past, the connector app would transfer routes to the XT as expected - booting up the XT would ask if I wanted to import the files.

Now, Connector shows the file is transferred but does not show up as an alert on the XT nor does Import in trip planner find the file. Tried changing file names etc, am using HERE download

Using the factory USB cable and tried another = no change.
All platforms have current software. Also posted in Self Serve

Any suggestions/comments greatly appreciated - thanks

Choose import via the hamburger menu (3 lines) in the XT

Thank you - have done that and the file(s) do not show there. Have tried multiple 'test' files via the Connector, selecting Garmin Zumo GPX1.2 and they do not populate in the import window.
Also did a 'repair' of myrouteapp as well as switching browsers with no change in the results. I am also using the web based app on my PC to build and transfer routes.
            I appreciate your help
            Best regards,

I suspect something is wrong with the XT. Perhaps a reset to factory settings might help

It is not about the Drive app, it is when using the connector
My setup works fine, with the connector and with the drive app 😊

Gentlemen - appreciate the help. @ Hans - a good next step but I just hooked up my Navi VI with the same results: tried the connector to export a route and it does not appear in the 'splash' screen on start up nor is it found in the import directory/trip planner. As mentioned, I have performed a repair on MRA and tried 2 different browsers with the same results - Chrome and Edge as well as two different connector cables. Will be heading out for a 6 day trip shortly, so my responses will be delayed.
I am grateful for the help and hopefully an easy fix is 'just around the next waypoint'
                    Best,

I tried to reconstruct your issue.
This is how it works for me.

                        • connect your Garmin XT with the USB cable to your computer.

                        • wait until your computer confirms the XT is connected.
                          091f80cb-f478-44e0-8501-cf986941d8a9-image.png

                        • open the desired route in MyRoute-app

                        • start the export via the connector tool

                        • choose your device. In my case Garmin (GPX 1.1)

                        • push the export button
                          cfb21e58-086d-4ddc-a7e3-6ea777b47780-image.png

                        • after a short while your get the message "route is exported"
                          cc409db6-7f14-4756-94aa-7a884242a6d3-image.png

                        • unplug your XT

                        • start your Xt again

                        • directly the 'New routes found' splash screen appears ( push the YES button)
                          db35bea3-60ab-4e5f-96ce-e2b22155c34c-image.png

                        • if not ! Try manualy to import the route by open the hamburger menu and push on 'import'. The Garmin now starts to search for imported routes.
                          aa9348ee-3d9c-443d-b9f8-8c822c1f3d08-image.png

                        • now the imported route must be vissible
                          f89786c6-52da-4185-ae76-df7d4dfa5c05-image.png

                        • put a checkmark next to the route and push the 'import' button
You get the splash screen 'Saving item to trip planner'

                        • after the import, the trip planner opens and the route must be vissible

This is how it works for me with the export tool but normaly I export routes with my iPhone in combination with MRA and Garmin Drive. This always works for me.

I hope my approach is helpful to you.

Thank you Albert - exactly as do except I use gps 1.2. Of note, the export used to work perfectly but now it does not - no splash screen notification nor is it found when I use import in trip planndf

The route is added to my Zumo without any problems. After disconnecting the Zumo, I am asked whether I want to import the new route. Then I get the message that the route cannot be calculated because the maps are not present in my device

Make sure that you place the route points correctly on the route line. Zoom in maximum.

Thank you Hans; I have been diligent on placing the shaping points correctly on the routes as well as putting the via points close to the desired location per your tutorial

Since you were able to successfully import the routes, I wonder if there is some windows glitch that snuck in on the last update? This is a new issue for me as the route import previously would work fine.
The work around currently is to save the route as gpx1.2 and copy it to the gpx folder on my SD card and then import into trip planner. Just a few more steps and I have full functionality for traveling.

I appreciate your quick responses and suggestions

The problem probably lies with a Windows update or a Garmin update (I've had that before).
Save it as... and then copy it to the GPX folder or with the MyRoute app (App) and the Garmin Drive App you can also get the routes on your XT. Open the route on the App and choose to download, then choose export (Apple) or export (Android) and choose the Garmin Dive App.

If you are going to install the Garmin Drive app, skip the Explorer step.

just a quick thought, I am not going to write many lines of text unless you require more explanation.

do you have explore activated on your XT. I had a similar problem, the problem was not resolved until I removed/de-activated explore.

to achieve, we must first attempt ✌️
