MRA Connector for TomTom on a Mac

Does anyone use the MRA Connector to export .itn routes to their TomTom device?
I have been asked if this is possible but I do not have a Mac computer to test it on.
Do you need to connect the TomTom to the Mac via TomTom MyDrive Connect?
This isn't necessary when exporting to a PC.TomTom and PC procedure:
Connect TT to PC with the TT USB cable.
On the TT screen click Import routes
The TT is now visible as a storage device in Windows Explorer.
Export via the MRA Connector is now possible.Can someone help me with the procedure for a Mac please.
