@Drabslab fair enough, no reason to doubt your specifics but it's there and works perfectly (so far) for what I want it to do which is send me on the exact route I planned and only show me the (via) points I select.

I am not saying it is a bad format or that it has no advantages, just that it is not part of the official standard.
Moving away from the standard may lead to long term problems. But, when the standard does not evolving anymore, a company like MRA has no other option it seems

@Steve-Lynch I don't think I can help you. My only issue ever was over 1 year ago, there was a release of the Drive App that failed to download to the Zumo. Since the update (V4.19.37) everything has been fine.
Best of luck!

I know this topic is very old, not sure if its been discussed again.
I'm not technically knowledgeable about GPX, but
If I use 1.1 transferred to the Zumo via Drive it saves it both as a track and a route. Which seems a good option.
However 1.2 only transfers as a route? No idea why but does the change which is the better format if you wish to follow the exact route as planned?
I'm usually happed to just follow a line as long as I'm taken the correct way. -
@Don-Stauffer This is my first forum post. I HAD to find out how to use the forum to THANK YOU Don for giving the steps to easily and successfully get a .gpx from a website to my Zumo XT!!
I do, though, have to (humbly) add that I had to tap [Share] in the MRA app after tapping [Download]..
