The maps are out of date for large portion of the Balkans A few new motorways are not showing up building routes around disused roads

New motorways, ring roads on and off motorway rams do not show, Lots of new road construction, When will new maps that are trust worthy be updated

i have as backup osm maps. they are normely more up to date in east europe. but in MRA Next you can not use them. only in webplanner you can use then and make a track. In MRA Next you can drive a track but you do not get instruction... just follow the line.

You might temporarily use another app that uses OSM maps. Some of these apps are free and OSM maps can be downloaded for free at several sites.

@Kevin-OSullivan you might want to try the OpenStreetMap navigation app > Osmand for places a bit more off the beaten path
The UI is a bit clunky but if you plan your routes in MRA & then transfer a gpx to Osmand for navigation, it works as well as most other navigation apps
you do need to download to your phone all the maps for the areas you intend navigating
these can be large & there are limits on how many areas/downloads you can get
