@stanisław You could be right but is not more logical the top is always North and the red part the direction of riding?

Oh, I hadn't thought of that. It may be intended that way, but I find it very confusing. I think it would be much more logical, as M. Schrijver suggests: north at the top, and the red part indicating the direction traveled.
