Feature request CARPLAY - add live search option while on active route

Hello

I'm using a carpuride carplay display with MRA Next app, it would be great if you could route to a searched item while on an active route, currently I have to launch google maps and search from there and then allow the re-calculation when I go off route. Example for petrol, food or toilet.

@Alliston this requaestreer is not relaxed to CarPlay. What you want is to add an extra point to your route

@Marinus-van-Deudekom yes your correct, you need to be able to search from the map, favourites or POI's while on active route.

I think there is some confusion over the language difference, my request is to first be able to search while on an active route and then add that searched item to the route. I don't think you can do that when using carplay. Regards

@Alliston That definitely exists! Just tap the search icon while navigating.

Then you are navigating a track which indeed does not support adding a stop. This is the same on CP / AA / Phone

Then for sure you have "Navigate routes as tracks" enabled or you are driving a route created in OSM / TomTom.

Try navigating to a favorite / search result or something like that. Then I am confident a search icon will show.
