Icone Waypoint
-
Hi everyone, I have a database of my waypoints added to MRA. I've assigned a different icon to each of them, as the system allows. When you add one of these waypoints as a POI to a route in the planner, these icons change to a teardrop icon. Isn't it possible for the POI to appear with the same icon you selected in the collection/list when you add it to the route? For example: This is the icon chosen.

This is the icon after adding it to the path

No. Mra doesn't have that option you're asking about.

Mine was meant to be a suggestion
@Aiello-antonino, yes, therefore it's in the suggestions category

I like this suggestion, and to be honest I think it is a (small) omission that it does not already take the icon of the original POI. -
Let's hope they fix it then! Talk to the administrators if you know them.…

One additional thing with the icons of POI: if users enters POIs to a route - no matter if selected from MRA POI list, or entered manually and giving a dedicated icon - why in the exported gpx file are all POI gets the same description?!
Example:<wpt lon="12.6679399" lat="49.2024777">
<name>Motorrad Dirnberger</name>
<type>user</type>
<extensions>wptx1:WaypointExtensionwptx1:Proximity100</wptx1:Proximity>wptx1:DisplayModeSymbolAndName</wptx1:DisplayMode></wptx1:WaypointExtension>gpxx:WaypointExtensiongpxx:Proximity100</gpxx:Proximity>gpxx:DisplayModeSymbolAndName</gpxx:DisplayMode></gpxx:WaypointExtension></extensions>
</wpt>Why <type>user</type> but no symbol?
Other Navi devices/apps expects to display a specific symbol something like:
<wpt lat="49.202631214664" lon="12.66770801368">
<name>Motorrad Dirnberger</name>
<sym>Repair</sym>
</wpt>It's important for longer well planned journeys, to see on map the well prepared POI in an easy way. But if all of them are "standardised" and looks identical - the unnecessary hard to read!
