Volume not restored after announcement

Just logging this, although it happens so infrequently that I doubt it will get too high on the priority list.

The music volume on my iPhone is decreased temporarily while MRA makes an announcement (eg upcoming turning), and restored to normal when the announcement is finished. On rare occasions the volume is NOT restored, resulting in barely audible music until the next MRA announcement fixes it.

I have not identified any particular set of circumstances that cause this; and it has only occurred 0-1 times a day.

Have you another app than makes "sound" on device, like a Radar Advisor?
Sometimes when 2 apps loud music to make advices and both do it at same time, volume is not well restored. I've noted with Radarbot and MRA when playing music.

I had the same problem during my trips in the past few weeks. However, the volume gets restored again when the next route instruction comes up. Annoying but not really a problem.

Raise a support ticket. The team state that they want MRA Next to be the best navigation app (it's a long way off) and the only way for that to happen is if issues like this are formally reported and, hopefully, fixed.

this happened to me recently while on a multi-day tour in Ireland, couldn't figure out why.
On one of the occasions I pressed the volume button on my headset, just a quick tap, and this resolved it, I did not actually turn the volume up just a tap. No idea why, but it worked and I used it from that point on.
this is not ideal, but it may be a long time until the next instruction.

@Stevedo-6-0 I disagree that MRA is a long way off. I am very satisfied with MRA. Other navigation app's have also problems. And this "problem" is very minor as I said.

Thanks for confirmation that others have seen this (minor) issue.

Unlike paul69, in my case the volume controls would not fully restore the volume until MRA next did an announcement.
And although I do have another “speaking” app on my phone, for speed camera alerts, this was not active at the time.

I have filled in a support ticket.
