Navigation App shows Groenewater as my current location
-
Just in case this is relevant, for me this only happens on the iOS version of the App not the Android version.
Thanks @Steve-Lynch

No problem here, I see the right location

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master It might just be a UK thing.

No such a problem.
Android version... -
It happens on both my iPad and iPhone. But on a scale of 1-10, as an issue, what might this score? Certainly, it’s a wrinkle that would be better rectified at some point, but…
I can only see this screen being useful to track one’s own movements (a perfectly valid thing to do, of course), and the starting point on my screen is where I am now, not Groenewater - now THAT would be an issue!
Maybe I’m missing something?

iOS on iPad Pro I have scrolled a bit to hide my address.
Same on my older iPad Gen 6Not an issue on my Samsung S10 5G.

No. Same happend on iOS in Belgium: circle/arrow show the right location, but text shows “Groenewater”

Same problem here! Also doesn’t show current speed while driving.

@Nick-Carthew I have the same topic,- I'm in Austria.

For me, "Groenewatwer" also appears briefly on the display. Then "Groenewater" disappears and my real location appears. I use an iPhone 11 Plus. Maybe the GPS reception is insufficient when "Groenewater" is displayed? Just an idea...

@Mopetenpit Could be... but still... Groenewater could be repalced by a neutral placeholder until the correct location has been found.
