Restart route: option to navigatie to nearest point on route

Sometimes a route has to be restarted, which is an error, but since it is sometimes..., it would be nice to start the route from the nearest point. Otherwise you will be lead to the startpoint an then have to skip a lot of point.

After selecting navigate, before you tap Start, you are given the option of which waypoint you want to start at. You can tap on waypoints to bring up a list of waypoints. Tap on yhd waypoint you wish to start start at.

@Danny-Truyens then you must be navigating a Track or a route as a Track. By definition a route does not have waypoints so the option does not exist.

You can also long press on the waypoint you want to start at.

Yes, pressing a waypoint is possible, on the app. Is it also possible on Android Auto? I didn't try...

@Leike-Lodiers I run MRA on my phone which is safely stored in my tankbag. So pressing the waypoint on the phone is a bit of a hassle.

If you have a BMW wheel just turn until you are on the settings button select it and select waypoint. Then choose the waypoint you want to start from.

@Lenny-O If all is well I can resume my route at the AA-device after a stop (switching te bike and AA-device off) If not I have to start the route all over resulting in a route which lesds me to the start. MRA could ask what I want: go to start or suggest a nearby point on the track or route, thats my point.

Of your settings are ok, MRA will take you to the nearest point

Then click on route settings
Then click on start from nearest point

Just one clarification:

1. You need to Tap Navigate first
2. The Route Settings pictured are only available if in your settings (Navigation / Functional),
   the last option "Navigate routes as tracks" is tirned off, so you navigate a Route as a Route.
