Last Route selection inconsistant

Selecting 'Last Route' should select the last edited route. It feels a bit like a gamble which route is selected. But is the 'last edited' purely within the naviagation app or does it also take the webplanner into account? In the last option this would need synchronisation. Can't figure out how it works.
