Tablet screen lock

I think this may have been discussed before. But I don't know what the result was. A very useful add on would be a screen lock to stop rain from messing with the screen. May be difficult on a phone to initiate because of the size. But on a tablet with the larger screen there would be room. I also use DMD2 which has a screen lock button at the top of the screen. I found this to be most useful in our British summer weather, as you just tap the padlock to lock and unlock. Is this a possibility?

@Brian-Martin When navigating, tap the 3 dots bottom right to open the navigation menu, here you’ll find a screen lock. When it’s on a lock is displayed on screen, tap the lock to turn it off. !

Althought MRA has a lock screen (explained in previous reply), I use Macrodroid to lock my screen. It is mapped to 1 of my remote button for on/off. The advantage is that the screen remains locked even though I flip thru various apps (again using my remote). Specially usefull if I flip between MRA and Weather and Radar app.

Having a T865X up till now I never had a single problem due to rain falling on the screen. Maybe that's because I've mounted mine almost vertically zo the rain can't fall on it

@Brian-Martin When navigating, tap the 3 dots bottom right to open the navigation menu, here you’ll find a screen lock. When it’s on a lock is displayed on screen, tap the lock to turn it off. !
@Nick-Carthew I found that if I set a destination and plan a route on the tablet the 3 dots don't appear. They only seem to appear on a downloaded pre-planned GPX route not on an on the fly route.

@Brian-Martin Not sure why you’re not seeing the navigation menu (3 dots) I have just added a place name in the search bar, selected the Navigate button and the navigation menu (3 dots) was available to use.
