Syncing routes, and showing routes on map

I am a bit confused about syncing and displaying routes
In a top level folder I can only see the option to sync all routes. I cannot find an option to just select individual routes to sync?

Then if i select a sub folder, I do not get the option to sync routes?

I have now clicked on "sync all my routes", all 900 or so of them. Which appears to have completed
It now says all routes are synced, but I still cannot show the routes on a map. It says they are not synced? These are the routes from a sub-folder
Not sure what to try next?

@Tony-13, If you go into the routes and tracks main menu option, do you see the blue bar at the top mentioning the syncing? What does it say?
