Hey there, some resourceful programmers have found a way to install an Android system on the TomTom Rider. This means you can now run the MyRoute-app on the device, among other things.
Once the beta testing is complete, installation instructions will be available.
More on this in the coming days.

It really would have been great to have such a device running MRA

Since Nick has moved this topic to Suggestions and Discussions .... I suggest that it would be a great idea that MRA should release their own device .... DMD who ?
MRA sounds better :))) -

MRA sounds better :)))@Adrian-Avram I like that idea but I know the team won't go there. To much trouble ahead

I have been rooting for such a device for a long time...
-
I was just thinking about this these days! It would be great if MRA had its own navigation device!
-
Clearly a April's Fool. It looks nice though
The screen is to sharp (high resolution). The Rider has a low resolution screen and because of that it is a kind of fuzzy/blurry screen.A dedicated MRA navigation device. I don't know if that is good idea.
It will add a lot of work for the developers. Because the team is responsible for the device itself also. -

You cannot have developers maintaining a hardware product. Different skill set. If I am not mistaken these possibilities have been thought through and dismissed already in the past
