@Makro Yes, my favourite camera view is Dynamic too. There were several users that requested a North up view, and others that prefer the Birdseye view, so if the developers were to make the Dynamic view the default view when starting navigation, there will be some that are not in favour of it. I think it is better left as it is, that we we all get to start a new navigation with the camera view of our choice.

I think that is possible. When you tap the screen you get a number of symbols on the right side; including one to toggle between the full route and the normal navigation view; one to skip waypoint and one to go to the zoom function. If you click on the skip symbol, the bottom left of the screen will ask if you want to skip the next point (point number X). Unfortunately I do not have a picture of this symbol at hand.

@ginogino, Sometimes detours are deliberate. To be clear, I am not against your suggestion. Merely pointing out it is a good idea to add a possibility of silencing it.

@Corjan-Meijerink tried it and after trying again and again it worked. Not very cliënt friendly but it works. Looking up the address in the search area is easier for ME

@RetiredWingMan Yes true , or one short with confirmation I was thinking about. And the beauty of this is that you can see how the app wants to guide you to a next or previous waypoint without having to move or zoom in/out the map.

@Reinhard-32 Thanks! I tested it extensively and no matter what I did the HERE map created this little spur. Here was my interaction with their customer support team. Here was the initial response from Doha in customer support a day after I submitted the problem on May 6: "Thank you for providing us with this information. I’ve just forwarded it to our cartographers, so they can take any necessary changes as soon as possible. As soon as we have an update, we will let you know." And here was the second response from Doha on May 21: "We just wanted to let you know that our database was updated according to your request. These changes will be available on one of the next map versions which will soon be released to our users and we therefore ask for your patience in the meantime." I have found that the HERE support team and their cartographers are very receptive to receiving map issue reports and fixing them if they are in fact issues. I just verified that this problem has in fact been fixed on the HERE map and it now routes correctly. Best regards, Steve

@Corjan-Meijerink that’s great news. I’m using the Garmin experience as a baseline where I can start/stop , change routes and route options all from the device screen. I purchased lifetime subscription to both MRP and MRA so I’m in-it-to-win-it. The current MRA build requires too much interaction with the phone but has been stable in testing with my Ford F150 and wideband Bluetooth AA. Looking forward to the updates.

There are two ways to do this. You can do it via the Toolkit menu in the web planner or by using the app. Since you mentioned wanting to reverse the route upon arrival, open the route. Click on the pencil icon, then click on Menu and choose the 'Reverse route' option. Do keep in mind that you might end up with a somewhat odd route. Waypoints placed on roads with separated carriageways always cause issues or require adjustments. The software isn’t clever enough to automatically place the waypoint on the correct side of the carriageway for the return journey.
