I think at this point there is still no clarity in understanding the process and setting the expectations. Maybe a good detailed write up from the mothership is in order to cover all the questions asked and clarifying misunderstandings. I navigate route as a track and have had situations where my next way point is North of me, so I should turn left at the intersection, but the Nav sends me to the Right (South) just to do a U-turn a mile down the road (at the SHAPING POINT I MISSED) and then head North to the next way point. That is wrong no matter how you look at it. A Shaping Point should not be forced so hard, right? Of course I can long press the next way point and get around the issue, or skip the one I missed, but should I have to do that? Using Navigation should make my life easier, not to be second guessing every instruction it gives me to see if it still makes sense. Agree / DIsagree? Thank you!

@Jozef-Malik-0, that is already a feature in the v5.1 update (it just seems that Google is not very speedy releasing it into the PlayStore...). That is, as far as routes are concerned. Tracks (and thus the result from the roundtrip generator) will not be possible to reroute. (it would not be a track if it did).

Route omdraaien kan ook bij routes uit je bibliotheek. Onvermijdelijk verandert de route wel enigszins, zoals hierboven al uitgelegd.

@BFG, What do you dislike about the MRA Route Navigation, and what do you like better on gMaps for a feature that it does not even have (scenic routing, navigating many route points)? Given the many features asked for in this forum, I do not understand what anyone could prefer on gMaps to be honest (besides A2B navigation that is).

Ik vermoed dat @paul-pels bedoeld of het net zo werkt als met MRA en Adroid Auto/Apple Carplay. Denk het niet als het 2 op zichzelf staande apps zijn.

Explore is de kaart die ik altijd gebruik, somlige wegen hebben bijne dezelfde kleur, dat is het een minimum verschil, ik gebruik MRA ook voor rit tracking in de auto, zodat ik snel kan kijken waar ik reeds geweest ben, soms ook op de motor.

I have been using the app for a couple of months now and moved over to gold. Pleased with it so far. I find the distance to next change of direction numbers to small to read, in the top left corner, when using a route, and ideally would like to increase in size. Is there a way of doing this please.

You missed something in the app. On the bottum you can swipe the buttons and there you’ll find the download Utton

and you have to use a route and not track. offline track calculation is not what you want

Yes and no, I like to organize long trips in one folder, so you can access that rapidly. At the moment I am cruising with my camper for 2 months in Spain and Portugal. One click and I am in. For other routes with more or less the same attributes, tags would be more helpfull, I agree to that
