I think we’re also dealing with a corporate style here. So I doubt that option will be added anytime soon, I guess

@Peter-Zehentreiter said: @Aggelos-Minoudis It might be a good idea to take some time to read up here on how MRA works and what great features it includes. https://www.myrouteapp.com/support Hi Peter. I would usually agree that the documentation for an app. should be your first port of call for learning about the app. However, in my experience, the documentation and videos published at the link you provided are not always up to date. Let me give a couple of examples: This is under the section [image: 1787994198615-225eea27-288b-4e1f-b296-603736e71dd9-image.jpeg] At the bottom of the page there is a video for creating routes. The video is 7 years old and does not reflect the user interface we have today. Many of the processes are the same as back then but we have to remember that many users of MRA will not be totally computer literate and are likely not to be able to follow instructions when the user interface and some processes have changed. Also at the bottom of the page, just above the video, there is a URL to a "switching service" which is supposed to include video instructions. This is what happens when you click on the "switching service" URL: [image: 1787995186794-f167783e-0193-4359-a3c9-3b7ef4dcf5df-image.jpeg] This is what you can find under the Navigation functional setting for the app. [image: 1787995314948-9a61d676-db8a-4c04-a19a-ce78bb5aea8a-image.jpeg] [image: 1787995365789-8a6d0c0d-04a6-466c-9d86-136fd727d0d6-image-resized.jpeg] That list is not an accurate reflection of what's in the Next app today. The documentation and videos need to be accurate (accepting that some minor errors may always exist) and up to date to truly be useful, especially to new users who may not be completely computer/app literate and also overwhelmed by the plethora of options. To be clear, I'm not saying that the documentation has no value, it does. I'm saying that it needs to be accurate and up to date and should be considered an integral and valuable part of the overall solution. PS yes, I know there are other videos on YouTube but those are not referenced in the documentation.

Yellow indicates heavy traffic, which may cause delays. Red indicates a traffic jam, which may lead to a traffic congestion! Geel is een hoge verkeersintensiteit welke tot vertraging kan leiden. Rood is verkeersopstopping wat tot een file kan leiden

You cannot change the symbols inside MRA, you can only use the ones that are available inside MRA

@Stevedo-6-0 Updated rules: https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/11534/general-forum-rules We cannot moderate this and given the community growth over the past years we feel adjusting the rules is more adequate. Nothing personal.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom said: wel John. I know you really love Garmin. Did you notice this is not a Garmin platform. You also know that what I think of Garmin is something you dont want to hear, so please keep your love for Garmin in the Garmin platform The man is looking for answers. If all you want to do is bash anything Garmin, you're doing a disservice to anyone looking for useful information. Your input was to weakly defend what's already in MRA Next, and when confronted with its inadequacy, concluded with "Whatever you like best use it". That certainly seems like an invitation to look elsewhere. I gave a balanced answer, and hopefully something useful. If that somehow offends you, please move on.

I completely agree with this request the ability to have a north up map that can be zoomed is an essential feature for safe navigation. When there is a problem, road closure, incorrect route etc. you need to be able to orient yourself with the ‘map’ and then zoom out to see where you are and decide on the best course of action. I have stopped using MRA when leading group rides as it is too difficult to recover - I use my Garmin Zumo XT. I have raised this with a support ticket with MRA but no answer was given as to when this important feature would come. Can we have a timeframe please? I am at a point where I am thinking of investigating other Navigation clients e.g. OSMAnd Maps, Scenic etc.

I propose that the end user can select the size they want. My reasoning is that some will complain that the font or the arrows etc. are too small/large whilst others will not have a problem. Why not set a default but let the end user choose for themselves?

@russell-j-morrell-0 as @brian-mcg wrote: there is no option for live tracking. But you can record by MyRoute-App Navigation you ride and upload to MRA. In the Activity feed, you can make your tracklogs public and share a link to others (your family). So they can see your journey just in the moment you finished your day and saved your record.
