Device Limit - What counts as a 'device'

Hello, I am regularly hitting the device limit in MRA and consequently am asked to log out, reboot, login, etc.
I have the MRA app installed on two devices (my iphone and an ipad). When navigating, I always use my phone. If on the motorbike, it will be connected via Carplay (Carpuride). If in the car, it is connected via the inbuilt carplay screen.
Why am I hitting the device limit if the MRA app is installed on only two devices (iphone & ipad)? Do the two Carplay screens (motorbike and car), even if they are connected to the same phone, count as 'devices' too?
Thanks in advance. I have sent the same question to support and asked for a device reset.

@ianlwelshoutlook.com Only mobile devices running the app are included! Android Auto and CarPlay head units are not counted either!

I believe that is correct, two is the limit.
there is no need to log out of either of those devices, yes it will read "your limit: 2 devices" and show the symbol adjacent to one of them, but no action is required.
this is what my account shows and i can use two simultaneously -
Thanks. My Device Limit is showing as zero and then lists both devices with a red door icon to log out the device. I guess my problem is why it shows a zero device limit even though I have an active subscription. I am hoping support can help.
Thanks for the clarification that carplay head units don't count.

I now see '2 devices' as the limit in the app.

Hello, just resurrecting this thread....
This has happened to me a second time. I have contacted support.
It seems my phone (iphone SE 2) is being seen multiple times as separate devices. When I reached the device limit this time, I managed to log in and see the devices listed. Both of them were the same phone. Plust my device limit was showing zero so I could not log in.
Is there an issue with how the app recognises a new device?
